Premium Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration
Why choose reverse osmosis?
Unlike conventional sediment and carbon filters, reverse osmosis uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate many dissolved substances from your drinking water.
RO technology can significantly reduce contaminants including:
PFAS compounds including PFOA and PFOS
Fluoride
Lead
Arsenic
Mercury and other heavy metals
Dissolved salts and minerals
Chlorine and associated tastes and odors
Sediment, rust and fine particulate matter
A broad range of other dissolved contaminants
The result is highly filtered water delivered through a dedicated drinking-water tap at your kitchen sink.
Four stages of filtration
Stage 1 – 5 Micron Pleated Sediment Filter
A premium Hydrotech pleated sediment cartridge captures dirt, rust, sediment and other particulate matter while helping protect the downstream carbon filter and RO membrane.
Stage 2 – 1 Micron Carbon Block
The Hydrotech carbon block reduces chlorine, tastes, odors and a range of organic compounds while providing important protection for the RO membrane.
Stage 3 – USA-Made FilmTec Reverse Osmosis Membrane
At the heart of the system is a genuine 75 GPD FilmTec RO membrane.
This membrane provides the fine separation stage responsible for significantly reducing dissolved contaminants including fluoride, heavy metals, salts and PFAS compounds.
Stage 4 – Post-Carbon Polishing Filter
Before reaching your drinking tap, the filtered water passes through a final Hydrotech inline carbon filter to polish the water and improve its final taste.
Compact under-sink installation
The filtration unit measures approximately:
360mm W × 140mm D × 360mm H
The included pressure tank measures approximately:
230mm diameter × 350mm H
Its compact footprint allows the system to fit neatly beneath most kitchen sinks while keeping filtered drinking water readily available from the storage tank.
Operating requirements
Incoming water pressure: 340–500 kPa
Operating water temperature: 4–38°C
RO membrane capacity: 280 LPD
Reverse osmosis systems produce both filtered product water and a reject-water stream, which is discharged to the drain as part of the membrane separation process.
The perfect addition to a Pure₂O Whole House System
A Pure₂O whole-house system and an under-sink RO system perform different jobs.
Our whole-house filtration systems are designed to improve the water supplied throughout the property, reducing sediment and chlorine before the water reaches your showers, bathrooms, appliances and kitchen.
Adding reverse osmosis beneath the kitchen sink provides an additional point-of-use treatment stage for drinking and cooking water, including the reduction of dissolved contaminants such as fluoride and heavy metals that standard carbon filtration is not designed to remove.
For customers wanting our most comprehensive filtration setup, we recommend:
Pure₂O Whole House Filtration + Pure₂O Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water
Whole-house protection. Highly filtered drinking water. One complete Pure₂O solution.
Australia-Wide Supply & Perth Installation
The Pure₂O 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System is available for delivery Australia-wide.
For customers in Perth, Pure₂O can also arrange professional installation, including integration with our range of dedicated drinking-water taps and premium 3-way kitchen mixer taps.
